Claim Verification ("we", "us", "our") operates the claim recovery and case management platform available at claimverification.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
1. Account Data
When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a one-way hash), and any optional profile details you provide. This information is used to authenticate you, manage access to your dashboard, and communicate about your claims.
2. Claim Information
To process a claim you may submit case details, financial information, transaction identifiers, counter-party details, dates, jurisdictions, and a description of the alleged fraud or loss. This information is reviewed by our case officers and used solely to assess, document, and pursue your claim.
3. Uploaded Documents
You may upload evidence such as bank statements, contracts, identification documents, screenshots, and correspondence. Uploads are transmitted over TLS and stored in encrypted object storage. Access is restricted to the assigned case team and compliance personnel on a strict need-to-know basis.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember session preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be collected to improve platform reliability and performance.
5. Communication Preferences
We send transactional emails relating to your account, claim status, deposits, withdrawals, and security alerts. You may opt out of non-essential updates at any time from your account settings; essential communications about your claims and account security cannot be disabled while your account is active.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with vetted recovery partners, regulators, payment processors, and legal counsel where required to advance your claim or comply with applicable law. All third parties are bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
7. Data Retention
Claim records and supporting documents are retained for the duration required by applicable anti-money-laundering, tax, and limitation-of-action rules. You may request deletion of your account data subject to these legal retention obligations.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@claimverification.net.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational controls aligned with GDPR, ISO 27001 practices, and PCI DSS where applicable, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging.
10. Contact
